Suddenly

Remove white line spaces

Go to: Find and Replace
    • In Find type "^p^p".
    • In Replace type "^p".

Click 'replace all', and your manuscript is now paragraphs without a white line in between.

Adapt to double-space white lines, for agencies = easy.
 

Overused Words

Authors have bad habits.

Many words can be deleted, or replaced; examples:
• Simply.
• Really.
• Very.
• Pretty.

The word 'for', used to mean: because, or as.
 

Sales Channels

Q. Can I still sell my books elsewhere if I sign a contract?

A. Yes, of course you can.
But you cannot sell in markets Charlotte Greene is selling your books in, say Waterstones or Ingram. But you can sell anywhere else.

Q. What happens if I am offered a book deal with a major publisher?

A. Take it, and we will part amicably, no problem, and good luck.

ISBN

As a Publisher, Charlotte Greene can assign ISBN's to an author who is contracted to them. The fee is currently £24.49 each. You will probably need two per book for Print and EPUB versions, currently offered as a pair at £39.99 (Prices as of May 2017).

We do not accept your book, and offer you a small royalty in return. You remain in control of your book with Charlotte Greene - - we help you to get there on your own.
